The annual Joseph Sunde Memorial Race to be held over the Australia Day weekend on Monday 26th January 2009 at Heffron Bike Track, Maroubra.

Grading
Riders compete in the grade set by their club ranking. A rider cannot elect to elevate himself to the next level other than through consistency and results.
Kidz Participation
A Kidz Fun Ride was included in the days events for cyclists aged between 7-13. Running in handicap format it was a chance for the children of the Eastern Suburbs Junior Sports Academy to show of their bike skills!
Raffle
A Raffle will be conducted on the day proceeds of which go to the Children's Cancer Institute Australia.
