Weekly Club Ride Schedule (registered with Cycling NSW) All rides depart from Albion Cycles, 1 Albion Street, Waverley Saturday 5.45am Waverley to Sutherland and return (60km) (see map) Saturday 6.00am Waverley to Sutherland and return (60km) (see map) Sunday 6.00am Waverley to Kurnell and return (75km) Sunday 6.30am Waverley to Waterfall and return (90km) (see map) Wednesday 5.45am Waverley to La Perouse and return (30km) (see map) Wednesday 6.00am Waverley to La Perouse and return (30km) (see map) All maps show the exact route we take. This is useful for those that want to join the ride somewhere along the way. There are alternative rides for novices and those that just wish to ride at a slower pace. Easier paced rides are in red. To Participate To participate in our registered club rides you must be a current member of Cycling Australia which entitles you to insurance cover whilst out on the road. To find out how become a member of Eastern Suburbs Cycling Club and obtain either a domestic racing license or a non-competitive license visit our Membership page. If you belong to another cycling club, you are more than welcome to join our rides. We do however, respectfully request that you familiarise yourself with 'Rules of the Road' by Stephen Hodge before setting out on your first ride with us, remain at the back of the bunch during the ride and follow all instructions given. Etiquette In addition to the general rules of bunch riding set out in 'Rules of the Road' we ask that you also respect the following club ride rules. 1. Carry spare tubes in the event of a puncture. 2. If a club member punctures, we wait. No exceptions! 3. Sundays training ride involves the quick turn around at Waterfall and then heads back to Sutherland at a fast pace. It is up to the individual rider to stay with the group. If you drop off, we re-group at Sutherland Petrol Station before setting off for home together. 4. Members of Eastern Suburbs Cycling Club are kindly requested to wear their club uniform while participating in club rides. Training Squad Training sessions are conducted in Centennial Park each Tuesday and Thursday morning from 5.30am - 7.00am. Before turning up for your first session, please ensure you contact Frank Conceicao of Albion Cycles on 02 9387 1144.
