In Memory of Anthony Spurgeon (Snr)

As many will recall Anthony Spurgeon (Snr), late husband to Jenny Spurgeon and Father to King of Heffron Anthony Spurgeon, was a track side fixture at not only his sons races but many of Sydney's cycling events. Volunteering his time and effort to the cycling community made him a most familiar face to Sydney cycling and when Mr Spurgeon sadly lost his fight with Leukaemia in 2000 he left a void in the cycling community that is now honored by ESCC with this event.

ESCC would like to thank Mrs Jenny Spurgeon and the Spurgeon family for allowing us to stage this event in his honor.
